During the Games, the Organizing Committee will provide a special Media Bus to transport the media back and forth between the main Media Center and each Competition Area, offering daily service at set times and locations, as well as at the same time providing a regular Media Bus that will operate a route circling between the three Competition Areas.

Please Note:

(1)   The Media Bus will operate a scheduled route to each Competition Area from the first day of official training for the first sporting event until the 2nd day of the last event’s final competition.

(2) The first Media Bus of the day from the Main Media Center to each Competition Area will be scheduled to allow the members of the media to arrive 40 minutes before the start of competition.

(3) The last Media Bus of the day from the Main Media Center to each Competition Area will be scheduled to depart 1/2 hour after the start of the last competition of the day.

(4) The last Media Bus will depart from each Competition Area to the Main Media Center two hours after the conclusion of the last competition.

(5) The time interval between bus departures will be 1/2 hour. (Subject to change due to the actual conditions at each Competition Area)

Arrival & Departure Transportation Service

The Games Committee offers pick-up and drop-off service at the Sanya Phoenix International Airport and the Sanya Train Station for all registered staff members from 8:00 AM Nov. 10, 2020 to 10:00 PM Dec. 9th.

Please Note:

(1)   The Committee will provide special bus service from the airport / train station to the General Headquarters Hotel, the Games Village, the Official Technology Hotel, and the Dedicated Media Hotel.

(2) If over 30 people are leaving at one time, they can apply to the Committee for a special bus.

(3) The General Headquarters Hotel, the Games Village, and the Official Technology Hotel bus will begin operation at the time of the Games Village trial opening.

(4) Each Olympic Committee should notify the Organizational Committee of their delegation’s arrival time in advance, so that pick-up transportation service from the airport / train station can be scheduled.

Athlete’s Village internal transportation service and transportation between the athlete’s village and the sports venues

From Nov. 17 - Dec. 9, 2020, the Games Committee will provide shuttle service inside the Athlete’s Village for athletes and accompanying personnel, with the main function of providing transportation between the accommodation area and each main function area.

Athlete’s village to sports venue transportation

The bus from the Athlete’s Village to the three Competition Areas will operate from Nov. 17, 2020 until the end of the competition.

The Games Committee will provide regular bus and shuttle bus service to athletes and accompanying personnel from the Athlete’s Village to the arena areas for those who need to compete, train, watch competitions, etc.

(1)   Competition Bus

Regular bus service for athletes to compete in or watch competitions will be scheduled. The exact time of the bus service will be determined according to the competition schedule, with buses scheduled every 10-30 minutes, ensuring that athletes will arrive at the arena 60 minutes before the start of competition. (Bus service will be offered for each venue from the first day of official training for the first sporting event until the 2nd day of the last event’s final competition.)

(2) Team Competition Bus

A Team Competition Bus will be provided for athletes competing in team events, ensuring that teams will arrive at the arena on time.
