The Sanya International Sports Industrial Park is located in Baopo New City, Jiyang District. The project faces Baopo Ridge on the North and the Sanya Round Island High Speed Rail on the South, and is nearby the Lizhigou High Speed interchange, making transportation fast and convenient. The project is jointly constructed by the Sanya City State Enterprise Tianya Culture and Beijing National Ao Group, opening a new chapter in government - private enterprise sports industrial park platform creation.  The Sanya International Sports Industrial Park construction plan includes a Sports Center and supporting facility industry park area, occupying a planned area of around 922,000 m2, with a draft plan to include a 63,000 m2 large stadium with 45,000 seats, a 45,200m2 large stadium with 10,000 seats, and a 23,700 m2 large swimming pool with 3,000 seats, with supporting public service buildings, underground parking & equipment room, warm up practice sports facilities, and a People’s Exercise Plaza. The peripheral facilities have a planned area of 593,333 m2, and the planned project investment is 21 billion yuan.
