The first phase of the project is located in the Tianya-Haijiao Scenic Area in Sanya. After its completion, it will serve as the opening ceremony venue of The Sixth Asian Beach Games Sanya 2020. The central circle of the main stage is named "The Ring of Eternity". Wide open and spacious, the stage will feature a tropical island architectural style. Looking from the seats to the main stage, the audience can enjoy the natural beauty of the sea and the sky.

The construction of the first phase of the Asian Beach Park started on May 11. Jia Liang, the project manager, stated that the team will continue to emphasize safety and quality during the final phase of construction.
